Accessibility Statement

What is and isn't accessible in the Lineon web app, and how to report barriers.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the Lineon web application available at https://lineon.qorvano.com/ and to the Lineon-related pages on https://qorvano.com/. It does not cover the third-party PayPal payment flow, which is governed by PayPal’s own accessibility statement.

The Provider operates as a microenterprise within the meaning of § 3 (3) German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) — sole proprietorship, no employees, well below the turnover thresholds. The Provider is therefore exempt from the binding accessibility requirements of the BFSG that came into force on 28 June 2025. This statement is published voluntarily, in good faith, to disclose the actual accessibility level of Lineon and to collect feedback for future improvements.

3. Compliance target

The Provider works towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA / EN 301 549, but does not yet claim full conformity. No external accessibility audit has been carried out.

4. What is accessible

  • Bundled fonts (Inter, Space Grotesk, Material Icons) load from the same origin — no third-party CDN, no IP leak to Google.
  • Color contrast: the primary cyan against the dark background tests at roughly 13:1 — well above the WCAG AA threshold of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
  • Material widgets (sliders, segmented buttons, filled buttons, text fields, dialogs) ship with built-in screen-reader semantics from the Flutter framework.
  • Crop step (uploading and framing the photo) supports both pointer and keyboard input: arrow keys pan, + / − zoom, Home resets, and the same actions are available as labelled on-screen buttons for users of switch control or voice control.
  • Generation progress and payment-status updates are exposed as ARIA live regions, so screen readers announce state changes (“Generating, 47 percent complete” → “Generation complete”) without the user re-focusing the panel.
  • Heading hierarchy: section titles in each wizard step are tagged as headings (Semantics(header: true)) so assistive tech can navigate by heading level.
  • Static legal links (Imprint, Privacy, Terms, EULA, Accessibility) are present in the static HTML of the subdomain itself, not only inside the Flutter canvas — discoverable for crawlers, screen readers and search engines without executing JavaScript.

5. What is not yet fully accessible

We disclose known shortcomings honestly:

  • No formal WCAG 2.1 AA audit has been carried out. The above is the Provider’s own self-assessment.
  • Screen-reader testing: only spot-checked. Lineon has not been end-to-end tested with NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
  • Focus indicators: rely on Material 3 defaults and may be insufficiently prominent on some elements (WCAG 2.4.7 borderline).
  • Internationalisation: the user interface is currently English-only. A German UI is planned but not yet shipped.
  • The PayPal checkout overlay is a third-party iframe and falls under PayPal’s own accessibility statement.
  • Error messages for image-upload failures and HEIC conversion are partly displayed in German even when the rest of the UI is English.
  • Mobile viewport: the bottom navigation bar and sticky paywall buttons have not been formally tested with mobile screen readers (TalkBack, VoiceOver iOS).

6. Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier in Lineon, please write to support@qorvano.com. We will reply within seven business days. Please include:

  • the device / browser / assistive technology you used,
  • the page or wizard step where the barrier occurred,
  • a short description of what failed.

7. Conciliation procedure

The Provider participates voluntarily in the conciliation procedure of the German Federal Conciliation Body (Schlichtungsstelle nach dem Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz) only if a binding obligation under BFSG arises. As a microenterprise, no such obligation currently applies. We do, however, welcome direct contact under § 6 above.
