Accessibility Statement
Qorvano° strives to keep this website accessible. This statement describes the current status and how to report barriers.
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Scope
This accessibility statement covers the website qorvano.com in its current form.
Our aim
Qorvano° designs and builds this website with the goal of making it accessible to everyone — regardless of technical setup, sensory or motor impairments, or cognitive demands.
The guiding standards are:
- the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA
- the European standard EN 301 549
- the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0)
Current status (self-assessment)
This self-assessment was carried out internally on 17 April 2026. There is no external certification. The site is still being built up — content and features are added continuously.
What is already in place
- Semantic HTML structure: heading hierarchy, landmarks (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>), lists, forms. - Keyboard operability: every interactive element is reachable via Tab. Focus indicators are clearly visible.
- Skip link: a “Skip to content” link appears on the first Tab press.
- Contrast: text and UI elements meet a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text (target: WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Language tagging:
<html lang="de">or<html lang="en">per page; hreflang alternates for language switching. - Motion:
prefers-reduced-motionis respected — animations are largely disabled when requested. - Alternative text: informational images have
altattributes; purely decorative images are markedaria-hiddenor with an emptyalt. - Responsive layout: the site works on mobile, tablet and desktop without horizontal scrolling.
- Dark colour scheme: OLED-friendly, with a
color-scheme: darkmeta tag so the browser can adapt UI controls. - Fonts: Manrope and Inter are self-hosted and embedded with
font-display: swapto keep text visible. - No autoplay media, no blinking content.
Known limitations
- Screen-reader testing has not yet been systematically documented with VoiceOver, NVDA or JAWS. A formal review is planned.
- Forms do not currently exist — once a contact form is introduced, it will be checked for ARIA conformance and error messaging.
- No video or audio content is offered at the moment. If introduced, subtitles and transcripts will be added.
- PDF documents are not published on the site at present; if introduced, they will be provided as tagged, accessible PDFs.
