Mission
What we build — and what we don't.
We build software that is good on day one and still good two years later. That means few products, clearly scoped, without feature bloat. No roadmap that trades on promises we'll later regret.
We don't build platforms that try everything. No dashboards that harvest metrics nobody needs. No apps that treat their users as traffic.
Instead: tools that do precisely what they promise. Nothing more, nothing less.
Principles

Qorvano° is a small company. It can afford to be deliberate in every detail. This isn't marketing — it's the working principle.

Slow software.
Not every feature has to ship today. What we release is finished. Everything else stays in draft until it holds weight.

Ownership over subscription.
Where it fits, you buy it once. Subscriptions stay the exception — reserved for products that need active infrastructure.

Offline first.
Apps that work without a network are more reliable. That's why Qorvano° apps compute, count and teach locally — not in the cloud.

No attention economy.
No nudges, no push messages designed to pull you back. Our apps don't try to keep you longer than you need them.

Data minimalism as default.
We don't collect what we don't need. Where payment is required, it runs anonymously through the platforms — Apple, Google, Stripe — never through us.

Accessibility is a design principle.
Contrast, focus states, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, screen-reader semantics. Not retrofitted — built in from the start. WCAG 2.2 AA as our compass.

Qorvano° grew out of personal work: the wish to make software I'd want to use myself. Less noise, more substance. Less dependency, more standalone clarity.
The sole proprietorship is based in Nottuln, North Rhine-Westphalia. Development happens there, hosting runs on IONOS in Germany, decisions and content stay under one roof — mine.
Technology
How Qorvano° products are made.
Platform-native development
We use tools that preserve the native feel on every platform. Flutter for cross-platform apps, Astro and plain HTML for the web. No tech-debt fog of frameworks.
Privacy as architecture
Privacy isn't layered on top — it's built in from the ground up. No tracking SDKs, no analytics by default, no third-party fonts. Self-hosted, offline-first, local-only.
Typography and quiet
Manrope and Inter as the base, generous white space, restrained motion. Visual decisions that should disappear behind the thing you're actually doing.
